Leeds Bereavement Forum is a local charity that signpost individuals to the most appropriate bereavement service. You do not need to be referred to them, their service is free and open to all. Their website provides help and advice for those who have been bereaved and an online directory of bereavement services both locally and nationally.

Cruse Bereavement Care drop in sessions

Cruse Bereavement Care are a major national organisation offering support for people who have been bereaved.

They have a Leeds office and can be contacted on 0113 234 4150 between 10am and 2pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Cruse also offers a bereavement support drop-in service at the Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre on the St James’s University Hospital site. The service is for people who have experienced any type of bereavement (not just for relatives of patients who were known to St. James’s University Hospital) and it is held there between 4.30pm and 6.30pm, on the first and third Wednesdays of every month.
