Meet the team


Who are the Long Term Follow up Team?

Our nurses and doctors are experienced in looking after people who have had cancer, bone marrow transplant or any condition treated before the age of 18 years by a cancer specialist (oncologist or haematologist). They are aware of any possible late effects that may develop.

The team offer support, information and advice to individuals during and following clinic visits. They can be contacted during working hours between planned clinic visits or follow-up telephone appointments.

Clinical Nurse Specialists

Naseem Sarwar, Clinical Nurse Specialist - Key worker for patients under 25 years of age

Heather Berry, Clinical Nurse Specialist - Key worker for patients from age 25 years.

Patient Care Co-ordinator

Jennifer Dutton

The Patient Care Co-ordinator is responsible for arranging appointments, investigations and providing information to both patients and other health care professionals.

Social Worker

Our social workers are available to offer support and advice about issues relating to the previous diagnoses which led to referral to the long term follow-up programme.

Psychologist

Our psychologists are available to offer psychological support relating to the previous diagnoses which led to referral to the long term follow-up programme
