Below are some more specific details which you may find useful.

Car Parking

If you are coming by car follow the signs for St James’s Hospital, Bexley Wing. The main car park is the multi-storey behind Bexley Wing, which is signposted by a blue parking symbol as you enter the hospital site from Beckett Street.

You will be able to drop off outside the main entrance if necessary, or park in the designated multi-storey car-park or disabled spaces situated close by. The multi-storey car park has 1,300 spaces for patients, visitors and staff. You should enter via the lane indicated for visitors. The car park offers a ‘Pay as you Leave’ system. There are disabled parking spaces within the car park on Level 0 and all disabled parking is free. There is a pedestrian walkway from the car park leading to the main entrance of Bexley Wing. On entering the car park take a ticket and park. If you require assistance or are unable to leave your car please press the button on the barrier. The car park is open:

Monday - Sunday 6am to 12 midnight.

There is also a car park on Beckett Street across the road from Bexley Wing. It is a ‘Pay & Display’ car park with 143 spaces. If you park there, you can enter Bexley Wing through the Beckett Street entrance.

Bus travel

There are frequent buses traveling from Leeds to Bexley Wing which drop you off just outside the Beckett Street entrance (Level -2). From this level you can access the Radiotherapy department and there are also lifts to all other floors and departments.

Trains
