The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

After your chemotherapy course has finished you will be discharged back to care of your own GP, but we will continue to help. Our clinical nurse specialists (CNSs), who will have spoken to you during your treatment, will monitor your progress and help you if necessary with dealing with adapting to any long term health issues and liaising with other bodies such as Social Services and the Community Nursing Service.  If you need help or advice, your CNS is the first person you should look to. Contact details can be found by clicking on the "Conditions treated" and then goto "Meet the team" in the relevant condition section.

You will be called to see our doctors at some point after your treatment, but this very much depends on the disease you had, the drugs that you were given and your general health.  If you are concerned that you have not been seen, it is worth calling your CNS or talking to your own GP.
