Welcome to the website for the Centre for Sexual Health in Leeds. Based at the LGI we offer a full Genito-Urinary Medicine service. Our service is completely free and open to all. This website is designed to help you gain access to our services
What We Do
Service
Genito-urinary medicine (Sexual health and HIV medicine) is a specialised service offering free and confidential advice with appropriate diagnostic and treatment facilities for sexually transmissible infections including HIV/AIDS and other genital conditions.

Therapy Services / Specialist Nursing Services/Partner notification
Consultant led clinics are provided for GUM and HIV/AIDS.
Nurse practitioner clinics are provided for new patient GUM clinics. Nurse led follow up will be provided for common remediable conditions such as proven gonococcal and chlamydia infection, vulvo-vaginitis, genital warts and follow up of hepatitis B immunisation.
** WALK IN SERVICE **
Walk in clinics are held 4 mornings a week:
Doors open 08.30: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
We advise patients to arrive for 08:30 to collect a ticket for a place in that session.
Walk In sessions are run on a first come first served basis and you could be here for up to 2 to 3 hours.
Patients that may not gain a place at that session will be advised of alternatives if they wish to wait and speak to a member of the Reception team.
