Wharfedale Hospital in Otley provides excellent standards of patient care from a modern, purpose-built environment.
Staff who work at the hospital have a passionate attachment to it and a personal commitment to providing the best possible care to the local community.
What we do
The hospital was opened in October 2004 as a high quality facility providing a mix of clinically appropriate primary and secondary services for the people of Otley and nearby with some services for the wider Leeds metropolitan area.
The role of Wharfedale Hospital continues to develop and we aim to increase the numbers of patients who use this outstanding facility. There is an ongoing drive to bring additional services into the building.
Our strategy for the next 5 years is to ensure an appropriate mix of services. This currently includes:
- Minor Injuries Services
- Elective day case surgery
- Non complex chemotherapy
- Lymphodema Therapy
- Chronic Disease Management
- Diagnostic services e.g. Radiology, Colposcopy, Endoscopy and Cardiology
- A wide range of specialist outpatient clinics
