Orthopaedic Inpatients

The inpatient orthopaedic team provide assessment and treatment for a range of conditions managed on the ward. They see patients after a traumatic injury or orthopaedic surgery and aim to rehabilitate children to maximise their potential. The team provide mobility assessment and exercise whilst children are on the ward and also offer advice for home. They work in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team to coordinate safe discharge when appropriate.
