Children's Respiratory Medicine

The Paediatric Respiratory Service is a state of the art secondary and tertiary service for the multidisciplinary care for a range of conditions including congenital lung abnormalities, bronchiectasis, immunodeficiency, severe asthma, rare lung diseases, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, sleep-related respiratory failure and apnoea. We provide a service to a city population of 750,000, and a regional population of 3.8 million.

What we do
The service consists of early identification of the condition and the prevention and management of associated physical, social and psychological problems.
