Volunteering opportunities - complimentary therapist and acupuncturist

Are you a complimentary therapist or an acupuncturist?

Applications are now open for two voluntary roles supporting our cancer patients in the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre at St James’s Hospital.

Leeds Cancer Support offers a comprehensive range of information, complementary and supportive therapies free of charge to people affected by cancer. All services are provided free of charge and delivered by volunteers.

As a member of the Complementary Therapies Team, a volunteer therapist you will practice the complementary therapy that has been agreed and work in accordance within the guidelines of the professional body of the therapy, and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) where applicable.

We are also looking for a volunteer acupuncturist who is experienced in delivering Auricular Acupuncture and holds a certificate of practice in Acupuncture.
