The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

Our Sarcoma Physiotherapists

Debbie Artis - Senior Physiotherapist

Josie Hewson - Physiotherapist

What We Do

Both the physiotherapists are available at any point during your treatment pathway; you can ask to see them as often or as little as you need.

Surgery and radiotherapy may cause some soft tissue tightness, muscle weakness or limb swelling. Physiotherapy aids in recovery and rehabilitation following surgery, and can also be useful during chemotherapy when mobility issues may occur due to tiredness and weakness.
