We offer multi disciplinary assessment and you may be invited to access physiotherapy, occupational therapy and psychology input based on your needs and goals.
What we do
What to expect at your first appointment
During your first appointment, the whole team will be present. They will ask questions about different areas of your life, like what activities you enjoy, school and physical health.
There may be a physical assessment completed by the physiotherapist looking at your heart rate and oxygen levels and how well your muscles support your body. It may be useful to bring a pair of shorts with you.
The team will ask you to complete questionnaires before the appointment. First appointments are up to 1.5 hours.

For professionals
Referrals into this service can only be made by secondary care. All children need to be seen by a general paediatrician first and have investigations done, as per the pathway, before being referred to the long covid clinic. Referrers must please ensure that they send a copy of their clinic letter along with the referral form. The patient must continue to remain under the care of the referring paediatrician until they are discharged from the long covid clinic follow up.
