The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

Leeds Gynaecology Integrated Service

The first stages of this process are the same as a normal Referral From Your GP.  You will need to contact the Referral & Booking Service to activate your referral using the reference number and password contained within your letter and, once the referral has been reviewed by a Consultant within Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust the Referral & Booking Service will contact you to arrange the appointment.

When reviewing your referral, the Consultant will decide whether you need to be seen by a colleague at a Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust hospital or whether you could be seen in hospital or you could instead be seen by one of our partners within the community.  If the Consultant decides that you need to be seen in hospital then a member of the Referral & Booking Service team will contact you to arrange that appointment along with any tests that you may need to attend.

If the Consultant decides that you could be seen in hospital or by a community partner, then you may be contacted by either the Referral & Booking Service or by a colleague working within the community.  If you have a preference for being seen either in hospital or in the community then please let this person know and they will update the comments to record your preference.

Further information regarding the Leeds Gynaecology Integrated service is available via this flyer.
