Vitamin K

Vitamin K is a fat-soluble compound important in the hepatic synthesis of clotting factors. Clinical indication for requesting: Bleeding disorders, osteoporosis, vascular calcification. PIVKA-II (undercarboxylated prothrombin) will also be measured.
