Anti-C1q antibodies

Autoantibodies to the complement classical pathway component C1q. Associated with Hypocomplementaemic Urticarial Vasculitis (HUV) they have been reported in SLE, especially in those with renal involvement (Lupus Nephritis). Anti-C1q antibodies are associated with a low complement C4 and often a low complement C3 as well.
