Autoantibodies to antigens expressed by cardiac muscle. These autoantibodies are directed against multiple antigens, some of which are strictly expressed in the myocardium (e.g. organ specific
for the heart), others are expressed in heart and skeletal musscle.

Additional Information These Ab are positive in a proportion of patients with Dressler's syndrome after myocardial infarction, cardiac surgery, some cariomyopathies and after acute rheumatic fever. Diagnostic value is low.
