Examination of mould culture for identification using manual methods. Indicated for mould that is thought to be the aetiological agent of infection.

| Additional Information | Identification, usually to species level on the basis of macroscopic and microscopic morphology. Molecular identification may be carried out for those isolates which cannot be identified using phenotypic tests.
