Biography

I qualified as a nurse in Poland in 1993 then trained to become a Medical Rescuer in 2005. I worked continuously until 2007 in Hospital in the surgery ward, community by supporting and managing voluntary First Aid Group for young people. In 2007, I moved from Poland to the United Kingdom and worked for Ancor Company in the Nursing Home, looking after people with Dementia. In 2009 I started working for Leeds Teaching Hospitals across a range of specialities Vascular, Neuro, Plastic and Orthopaedic Theatres as a scrub nurse. Then in 2015 I became a research nurse, first in Oncology, then Rheumatology Research. In 2017 I started working for the Rheumatology Department. I have worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for the last four years. In 2020 I started training to become an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in rheumatology
