Biography
Since qualifying as a RGN in 2008, I spent my first 4 years working on the AAU Ward at Northwick Park hospital. Following this I worked at UCLH and later at the Imperial College London Hospital working within the rheumatology department. In 2014, I returned back home to Yorkshire to start working as a Rheumatology Research Nurse/Clinical Nurse Specialist at The Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. In 2017 I made the decision to become a Clinical Nurse Specialist full time. I have undertaken further studies to become an Independent Nurse Prescriber. In 2020, I was awarded a Daisy Award by the trust following a nomination by a patient.
