Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust appoints new Associate Non-Executive Director

NHS Improvement has confirmed the appointment of Patricia Storey-Hart as an Associate Non-Executive Director of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Tricia is a former NHS chief executive with 42 years’ experience. She began her nursing career in Leeds in 1974 and throughout her career has held a number of distinguished roles including being a member of expert working parties on confidentiality and information governance, and working as a nurse expert on the Mid Staffordshire Report with Sir Robert Francis. She was the Chief Executive Officer of South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from January 2013 until her retirement in January 2016.
Tricia said: “To be able to return to the organisation where I started my clinical career over four decades ago, is both exciting and humbling. I’m delighted to be able to support the organisation in its continued success.”

Associate Non-executive appointments are made by the NHS Trusts with the oversight and engagement of NHS Improvement are subject to the Governance Code for Public Appointments. NHS Improvement ensure that all appointments to NHS trust boards throughout England are made in a way that is open, transparent and fair to candidates.
Patricia will receive a remuneration of £6,157 pa. She has not declared any political activity in the past five years.
