Q&A with our apprentices - Deborah Moffatt

4 February 2020

For National Apprentice Week 2020 we are hearing from our own apprentices from a range of programmes across the Trust about their experiences here in Leeds and where it's taken them.

Today we're hearing from Deborah Moffatt, Business Administration Apprentice.P1400717

1. What apprenticeship are you enrolled on?

I have completed the Business/ Customer Service Practitioner Level Apprenticeship. I am hoping to start Business Administration Level 3 course/ apprenticeship.

2. What made you choose this qualification and why do it through an apprenticeship?

I chose this apprenticeship because I wanted a career change from working in childcare for over ten years. The apprenticeship scheme gains you new qualifications while gaining hands on experience in your job role.

3. What difference does this apprenticeship make for you and your role in the Trust?

I have learnt more about the Trust while I have been on the apprenticeship. I have learnt about contracts with different suppliers. I have also learnt all about the ordering system and how requisitions for different departments throughout the Trust are processed into purchase orders.

4. How can I find out more?
