What apprenticeship are you doing/have you done?

I am doing the Business Administration Apprenticeship.

Why did you choose to do an apprenticeship at Leeds Teaching Hospitals?

After working for more than 10 years in the Hospitality industry I wanted a change of career and this amazing opportunity came up.

What are the benefits of doing an apprenticeship and why would you recommend it to others?

There are multiple benefits of doing an apprenticeship such as:

• Working as part of a team of experienced professionals you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset and benefit from hands-on experience.
• Apprenticeships offer a much higher level of support than regular jobs, and your employers will be there to help guide you through your career journey.

I would recommend it to everybody who wants to change their career, but they do not have much experience in a specific role.

What difference does this apprenticeship make?

Apprenticeships makes a huge difference as you learn while you work, also you have a lot of support from colleagues but also from the tutors which are always available for help and support.

Do you have any advice for anyone interested in this apprenticeship?

Just go for it!
