Dr Magnus Harrison

Chief Medical Officer

From 18 September 2023

Dr Harrison has held Executive Medical Director and Deputy Chief Executive roles at both Burton Hospitals NHS Trust and the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton.  In 2022 he became Interim Chief Executive Officer of University Hospitals of Derby and Burton before becoming Chief Medical Officer of independent healthcare provider Newson Health. Prior to his executive roles, Magnus was a Consultant and Clinical Director in Emergency Medicine for 10 years. He is also an Honorary Fellow at the University of Nottingham Medical School.
