Leeds Clinical Practice Centre

CPC is a multi-professional education centre providing clinical skills education and training to Health Care Providers across Leeds. The Centre offers the opportunity to work with education staff to design, develop and deliver education and training encompassing cognitive, technical and non-technical skills

What we do

The centre is equipped with a range of teaching and learning facilities enabling the delivery of a broad spectrum of educational experiences, ranging from part task skills teaching for venepuncture and catheterisation through to team working and communication skills in simulated clinical environments utilising low to high fidelity manikins. Designated observation and viewing rooms including a domestic living space facilitate observation, recording and analysis of simulated practice. In addition, recordings can be made from each skills training room to enhance reflection and learning through debrief.
