Leeds Institute for Minimally Invasive Therapy (LIMIT)
The aim of the Leeds institute for minimally invasive therapy is to provide a stimulating and safe environment that will encourage and promote the development and acquisition of clinical skills for all healthcare students and professionals working in both acute and community settings, at undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional level.
The institute will provide skills and resources for the development and delivery of a range of educational approaches. Using state of the art equipment and evidence based practice, to become a centre of excellence.
We will provide an encouraging, supportive and positive environment in which the learners will gain the knowledge, skills and expertise to become proficient and confident practitioners within their clinical areas.
Quality sits at the heart of our values, meeting and surpassing standards set by clinical and higher education regulators. We ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of clinical education, delivered by the right people, to the right people, in the right place at the right time. Medical education in Leeds Teaching Hospitals is provided in the context of the Leeds Way. And leads to improved patient outcomes and enhanced enjoyment for our learners. We are current, reflecting up to date knowledge, evidence based and grounded in research.
