Patient experience support during COVID-19

Our patient experience team are providing a number of new support services to help patients and their families during COVID-19. Please use the links below to find out more:

Local support

Information about help with food, money and work and how council services are affected can be found on the Leeds City Council website. 

Bereavement support

A new support and advice service has launched to help people across West Yorkshire and Harrogate through grief and loss.  Open to people in West Yorkshire and Harrogate, the service is the first point of contact for anyone suffering any form of grief and loss, or those worried about losing someone, whether this relates to a family member, friend or member of their community. It is also available to those feeling impacted by the deaths of public figures and/or the volume of deaths across the country.  

The practical and emotional support and advice service is available 7 days a week, from 8am to 8pm.  The phone number for the telephone support line is: 0808 196 3833, while a live chat and live text functionality is available on the website: griefandlosswyh.co.uk.
