Two joint inboxes have now been set up for submitting an enquiry to the team and to ensure that queries are picked up by the right people to action. In case of any sick leave, it is advised not to contact your HR Manager or Advisor directly but continue to use one of these email addresses:
For COVID-19 specific HR queries, please email email@example.com - Use this mailbox for queries about the implications of COVID-19 on working from home, pay, absence, sickness, childcare, maternity, and bank shifts related to COVID-19.
For non-COVID-19 HR queries, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org - Use this mailbox for business-as-usual HR processes regarding employee relation case management, attendance management, conduct issues, grievances, maternity leave, annual leave, flexible working, organisational change, secondments etc.
Recording staff absences at work
This document provides a brief guide for recording associated absences from work and contacts with possible and confirmed cases whilst at work. Managers are asked to note the change to how self-isolation and shielding should be recorded. Advice is available from the Workforce Systems Teams.

For staff whose usual work is not currently required as fully as normal, they may be asked to support other roles within the Trust to ensure front line services can continue, or may be asked to support alternative, valuable tasks either from their usual place of work, from home, or remotely from other Trust locations. These duties may be different to those you usually perform within your ‘normal’ working week, however will still be of great value to your team, department and the Trust.
The suggestions outlined in the document here have been developed to help you to consider and manage your team's workload.
