Welcome
Thank you for joining #TeamLeeds and choosing to be vaccinated against COVID-19! You are already playing an important role in our response to COVID-19 and now you're helping to protect our community too!
COVID-19 has been the single greatest public health emergency in the history of the NHS and it is vaccination that will guide us out of lockdown and restrictions, fear and anxiety.
There have been incredible achievements in science over the past year and we have been witness to some landmark moments in medicine. As a doctor and scientist myself, it has given me great pride and inspiration to see not one, but three vaccines approved for use here in the UK, and our vaccination rollout programme is one of the leading programmes in the world.
We strive to provide this service bringing to life NHS values, putting the patient at the centre of everything we do, and improving people’s lives.
Once again, thank you!
