Security/ID

It is vital that you bring your staff ID badge with you to the vaccination centre. If you are yet to receive your staff ID this will be provided at your first shift. Please therefore bring photographic ID such as a driving licence or Passport for your first shift. Our marshals will be on-site to guide staff to the correct car park (at Elland Road Site) and advise you how to get to the Staff Welfare Area. ID will be checked on arrival.

On arrival

When you first arrive at the vaccination centre please report to: Elland Road - Level 2, East Stand (main stadium building) - this is where the staff welfare area is situated. Thackray Museum - Please report to the main vaccination centre which is signposted from the car park

You will be welcomed on your first day by the management team of the site. A pre-shift huddle will ensure you have everything you need to start work. At Elland Road, the pre-shift huddle takes place in the Staff Welfare Area for non-clinical staff and in the Centenary Pavilion for the nursing team. At Thackray Museum you will be greeted by a team leader who will explain where to go for your huddle.

Before your shift

At Elland Road, the pre-shift huddle takes place in the Staff Welfare Area for non-clinical staff and in the Centenary Pavilion for the nursing team.

Training

Any training you need will be communicated to you before you start - there may be some things that you need to complete before your first shift.

Uniform

For your first shift please arrive wearing your own clothes.

If you are working at Elland Road please report to Level 2 in the East Stand. You will then be provided with the correct uniform for your given role. If you require scrubs you will be given two pairs that are yours to keep and should be taken home and laundered.

If you are working at Thackray please report to the vaccination centre and you will be advised where to collect your uniform from.

For all subsequent shifts, if you are arriving in a car, please come in your uniform. If you are arriving via public transport, please travel in your own clothes and change once at site.
