Video Interpreting is available in most areas across the Trust, including COVID wards. Accessing interpreters via video connection is useful, during the current situation, for inpatients and patients presenting at Emergency Department and/or Maternity services.
Video interpreting is provided through use of an App that connects you and your clinician to a remote interpreter. The Trust’s interpreting service provider, LanguageLine Solutions, is constantly working to increase the number of languages that can be accessed through this service. Currently there are 40 languages available.
