Action on Hearing Loss has a range of research funding calls throughout the year. For more information, see here

Ataxia-Telangiectasia Society

The AT Society has a call for projects of between 1 - 3 years, leading to major advances towards being able to treat neurodegeneration in AT.

Ataxia UK

Ataxia UK hold two rounds of preliminary applications for funding each year in June and October.

Brain Research UK

Brain Research UK offers PhD studentships of up to £120,000 and the call will open in July/August 2020. BRUK also provides Project grants of up to £300,000 and the next call opens September 2020 here.

British Sjögren's Syndrome Association

The BSRA offers a range of small sums of funding for equipment, workshops, publication costs and patient public involvement here.

Moorfields Eye Charity

Moorfields currently has a range of research funding opportunities available to apply to including Innovation grants, Springboard awards, Equipment grants and Research Travel grants, all of which can be found here.

Oracle Cancer Trust

Oracle accepts funding applications for single year or multi-year projects including for three or four year PhD student projects up to £200,000 here

Retina UK

Retina UK invites applications for funding for high quality research projects looking at the causes and potential treatments for all forms of inherited retinal disease. Retina UK holds up to three grant application rounds per year, details here.

Royal College of Surgeons of England
