The AT Society has a call for projects of between 1 - 3 years, leading to major advances towards being able to treat neurodegeneration in AT.

British Scoliosis Research Foundation
The BSRF launch a range of research funding opportunities on a bi-annual basis. They are Small exploratory grant, New investigation grant and Major research grant, available to appropriately qualified professionals such as scientists, clinicians, and allied health professionals (nurses, psychologists or physiotherapists).

Children with Cancer UK
Children with Cancer UK provide funding of up to £10,000 to attend conferences, meetings and workshops. This funding stream is open throughout the year on a rolling basis here.

Crohn's in Childhood Research Association
CICRA has funding opportunities open for small grants up to £400 to enable UK based trainees/nurses/medical students to participate in appropriate scientific/educational congresses.
Submission deadline; A rolling application process and funds will be allocated in on a quarterly basis per year.
John Earnshaw bursary awards provide up to £1,000 to enable CICRA funded Research Fellows, and others in training of Paediatric IBD, to attend UK and international scientific/educational congresses and training courses.
Submission deadline; No fixed deadline, bursaries are made at the discretion of CICRA trustees upon submission.

Venture and Innovation awards are leverage funding, whereby funds are awarded following the success of an application to an external funding body.

Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation
The Professor David Matthews Non-Clinical Fellowship 2020 covers up to 3 years funding of £65,000 per year including salary, consumables and some support costs.
