The Trust is proactive in supporting staff’s mental wellbeing and in reducing the stigma associated with poor mental health

Mental Health is a state of wellbeing in which every individual realises their own potential, can cope with normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully and is able to make contributions to his or her community, (World Health Organisation).

A mental illness is a condition that affects a person’s thinking, emotions and behaviour and disrupts the person’s ability to work or carry out other daily activities and engage in satisfying personal relationships.
