Our doctors

Our Consultant Gynaecological Oncology surgeons are Mr Tim Broadhead, Mr David Nugent, Mr Diederick De Jong, Dr Amudha Thangavelu, Mr Georgios Theophilou and Dr Angelika Kaufmann. They are supported by Dr Sarika Munot, Dr Alexandros Laois and a number of Clinical Fellows.

The team work closely with Miss Tracy Jackson (Gynaecology Cancer Unit Lead) and Mr John Dalton (Deputy Gynaecology Cancer Unit lead).

Our clinical nurse specialist team – key workers

If you have been diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer, you will be allocated a key worker from the clinical nurse specialist team. This person will help to co-ordinate your care and provide a point of contact when you need to know where to go for help, advice or information. They have an understanding of the care you are receiving and are able to provide emotional support to you, your family and loved ones. They will be based at your local hospital and you will be given their contact details so that you can get in touch with them if needed. Please note that your key worker will usually only work weekdays and not weekends or bank holidays. If you leave a message on their answering machine please allow 24-48 hours for them to reply to you. Your individual key worker will provide you with specific details about their working hours and days.
