In a keynote session on 19 March, Professor Phil Wood, Chief Executive, Dr Paul Jones, Chief Digital Information Officer, and Emma Rogers, Deputy Chief Nurse will explore the benefits of locally developed and managed systems. Focusing on the evolutionary story of PPM+, the keynote will explain how fostering local expertise can provide unique benefits for patients and staff through affordability, adaptability and responsiveness.
PPM+ has evolved from a simple spreadsheet to meet a growing range of clinical needs over the last 20 years, supporting everyday nursing, medical documentation and clinical processes for thousands of users.
Now a Cloud-based system offering flexibility, scalability and resilience, PPM+ is the bedrock of care integration across the Trust, region and more widely, supporting the local community of Leeds and the provision of regional specialist care to a population of 3-5 million people. The system provides nationally and internationally respected data, offering significant potential for next generation care.
We’re incredibly proud of PPM+, and there’s huge potential for it to bring benefits to public sector organisations at a range of levels.
