Strolll is a UK-based digital therapeutics company transforming neurological rehabilitation through Reality DTx®, an augmented-reality (AR) platform. Using see-through AR glasses, Reality DTx overlays gamified cues, such as digital stepping lines and interactive tasks, into the patient’s real environment to improve mobility, balance, and engagement.
Early deployments have shown Reality DTx to be safe, well-accepted, and effective in practice, enabling clinicians to deliver up to seven times more therapy with two-thirds less staff time. Patients report greater confidence, independence, and adherence to therapy programmes.
In 2022, Strolll partnered with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and the University of Leeds to secure an NIHR i4i grant (£2.4m) for a multi-year randomised controlled trial. Launched in June 2024, the trial is comparing Reality DTx plus usual care with standard physiotherapy for people with Parkinson’s, and will run until 2027 with recruitment now underway.
By joining the Innovation Pop Up, Strolll is strengthening its links with the rehabilitation community, clinicians, and researchers across Leeds and beyond. Membership provides access to mentorship, clinical partnerships, and opportunities to showcase Reality DTx in action, helping to accelerate its adoption and impact across the NHS.
