Special interests: Furthermore, I have been selected by NHS England as one of the first stroke physicians in the UK to receive advanced training in mechanical thrombectomy, a ground breaking procedure that will revolutionise stroke care. I was fortunate to receive the support from Leeds Teaching Hospital Interventional Neuro-Radiology (INRs) and the Stroke Teams whom I’m working with since 01/12/2025 as a stroke consultant with an opportunity to be trained in Mechanical Thrombectomy (MT).
