The Daisy Award

Want to say “Thank You” to a Nurse or Midwife?

The DAISY Award is your opportunity to say ‘thank you’ by sharing your story of how a nurse or midwife made a difference that you will never forget.

We are proud to partner with The DAISY Foundation to honour the compassionate care of our extraordinary nurses and midwives.

The DAISY Award was established by the DAISY Foundation in memory of J. Patrick Barnes who died aged 33 of ITP, an auto-immune disease. The Barnes family were awestruck by the clinical skills, care and compassion of the nurses who cared for Patrick, so they created this international award to say thank you to nurses and midwives everywhere. To learn more, visit
