I am a consultant cardiologist who specialises in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and general cardiology. I trained in London and Essex and have been a Consultant Cardiologist at Leeds General Infirmary since February 2019. I previously worked as a consultant cardiologist at Bristol Heart Institute for 4 years.

Clinical training:
I completed general medical training on the Kings College London medical rotation. I trained in General Cardiology at St Thomas’ Hospital, UCLH, The London Chest and The Essex Cardiac Centre. Interventional cardiology training was completed at The Essex Cardiac Centre and Wytenshawe Hospital, Manchester.
Research:
I undertook a 2-year clinical research project at The London Chest Hospital investigating the safety and efficacy of bone marrow derived stem cells in patients with cardiovascular disease. I gained an MD Degree based on this research as well publishing several manuscripts in high impact journals.
Interventional Cardiology Experience:
I am one of the highest volume operators in the UK and have specialist expertise in treating complex coronary artery disease including chronic total occlusions and calcified arteries with rotational atherectomy.
