Congenital heart disease with a special interest in Congenital Electrophysiology
Having completed my Paediatric Cardiology training in Leeds, I undertook a period of training in the Adult Electrophysiology department in Leeds, and subsequently a fellowship in Paediatric Electrophysiology at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.
Since returning to the UK in March 2012 I have continued my general work in Paediatric Cardiology, but also run specialist Congenital Arrhythmia Clinics for children and adults with Congenital Heart Disease, and also perform Fetal Cardiology clinics at the LGI.
I am an interventional electrophysiologist, and perform keyhole procedures to treat heart rhythm problems on children and adults. I also implant monitoring devices, pacemakers and defibrillators.
