Special interest’s: I am a Medical Oncology consultant treating patients with germ cell tumours, malignant melanoma, and teenage and young adult cancers at Leeds Cancer Centre.
I am the lead clinician for medical oncology and the germ cell tumour MDT. I have a particular interest in rationalising and thus improving the patient pathway.
My Doctorate of Medicine (MD) research degree at the University of Leeds enabled me to look in-depth at point of care testing in oncology, focusing on use of a home self-test blood count device in cancer patients on chemotherapy to improve the patient pathway.
My professional interests include using health informatics to improve patient pathways, improve clinical outcomes and cancer survivorship through integrated cancer care between community and secondary care.
