Secondary destination: Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Leeds Institute for Medical Research
Special interests: I am a Consultant Haematologist working within the Myeloma and CAR-T cell teams. I am involved in the management of myeloma, plasmacytoma, MGUS and amyloidosis, as well as the delivery of national myeloma clinical trials. I also have a number of research interests in this field.
In my role in the CAR-T cell team, I treat lymphoma, acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, myeloma and amyloidosis both in the NHS and as part of clinical trials. I lead on the use of CAR-T in non-malignant conditions, particularly in autoimmune disease and we have an expanding trials portfolio in this incredibly exciting area.
