In addition to seeing a wide range of patients with general neurological disorders, I have also developed a specialist interest in neuro-otolgy, primarily around disorders of dizziness and balance. Since 2004, I have run a weekly clinic for these patients, as well as a monthly clinic with colleagues in ENT and audiology for more complex cases. These clinics were originally at Pinderfields, in Wakefield but moved to Leeds in 2016.
I also have an interest in a number of general medical disorders that affect brain function, particularly the way a failing liver affects the brain and my doctoral thesis explored the neurology and neuropsychology of liver disease.
