Special interests: Dr Sree Lakshmi Rodda is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, specialising in the treatment of prostate, bladder and kidney (renal) cancers. She is an experienced clinical oncologist with expertise in advanced radiotherapy, systemic cancer treatments and precision medicine, providing personalised care for patients with newly diagnosed, recurrent and advanced urological cancers.

Appointed as a consultant in 2016, Dr Rodda completed her specialist Clinical Oncology training within the Yorkshire Deanery before undertaking an advanced fellowship in prostate brachytherapy at the internationally renowned BC Cancer Agency in Vancouver, Canada. There, she developed advanced expertise in the treatment of prostate cancer using prostate brachytherapy.

Dr Rodda has a particular interest in precision radiotherapy for urological cancers, including prostate brachytherapy, MRI-guided adaptive radiotherapy (MR Linac) and Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR/SBRT). She has published extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals, particularly in the field of prostate brachytherapy, reflecting her commitment to advancing cancer treatment through research, innovation and clinical excellence.

She works closely with specialist multidisciplinary teams to develop evidence-based, personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s diagnosis, overall health and individual priorities. Her aim is to achieve the best possible cancer outcomes while preserving quality of life.

Her clinical expertise includes External Beam Radiotherapy (EBRT), MRI-guided adaptive radiotherapy (MR Linac), MRI-guided Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (MRI-guided SABR), Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT/SABR), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), High-Dose-Rate (HDR) and Low-Dose-Rate (LDR) prostate brachytherapy, chemotherapy, androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) and personalised systemic cancer treatments.
