| Special Interests | I am an anaesthetist with a specialty interest in anaesthesia for Neurosurgery. I cover all aspects of anaesthesia for Neurosurgery but I have a specific interest and expertise in surgery performed for adult epilepsy and also for brain tumours. This includes Neurosurgery performed awake (known as Awake Craniotomy) for tumours that are known to be close to important areas of brain. I also have an interest in Colorectal anaesthesia and anaesthesia for acute and emergency surgical problems. I regularly anaesthetise patients undergoing major bowel resections for clorectal cancer or severe inflamatory bowel conditions. |
