I am qualified in Medicine and Dentistry and undertook the majority of my surgical training in London, in a wide variety of surgical disciplines.
I completed training in Maxillofacial Surgery in 2011, and then undertook a European scholarship in Madrid, Spain.
I have a varied clinical practice in general oral and maxillofacial surgery. My subspecialty interests are in major facial trauma and reconstruction, oral and facial deformity, together with interests in facial pain and jaw joint disorders.
I am actively involved in teaching and training of doctors, and I am the Training Programme Director for foundation trainees in Maxillofacial surgery. I am a fellow of the Higher Education Authority, and have a PGC Med Ed. I am currently studying for a Masters degree in Education. I am the Training Programme Director for foundation years doctors for West Yorkshire region.
I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Faculty Of Medicine and Health Sciences and I am involved in teaching and examining of undergraduate Medical and Dental students.
