Special interests: In addition to my managerial role as lead clinician for Urology my clinical practice is concentrated on one area of expertise, the minimally invasive treatment of kidney conditions, particularly kidney cancer.
As lead surgeon for the kidney cancer multidisciplinary team I offer assessment and treatment planning for patients with kidney cancer. I offer specialist laparoscopic [keyhole] kidney cancer surgery including both radical and partial nephrectomy. I also apply laparoscopic surgical skills for the treatment of non-cancerous kidney problems such as obstruction, kidney transplantation and stone disease.
