The independent investigation into matters relating to Jimmy Savile was set up in December 2012 to investigate the very serious allegations made against Jimmy Savile by patients, the public and staff at Leeds General Infirmary and other hospitals in Leeds, as well as look at his role as a volunteer and fundraiser and the access he had to the hospital. It was also asked to look at the appropriateness of policies and procedures and give assurance that nothing similar could happen again. The reports were published in June 2014 and are available below.
Following the publication of this report, a small number of further allegations were made and these have also been investigated. The findings from this investigation were published on Thursday 26 February 2015 and reports are available below.
