The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ team made a pitstop at Leeds Children’s Hospital on Monday with driver Jak Crawford and a full-size F1 race car!
This visit was part of an incredible partnership with Leeds Hospitals Charity, showing how corporate collaborations can make a real difference for patients and families in hospital.

Through Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team’s nationwide community outreach programme, the team is visiting five hospitals across the UK, and thanks to this ongoing charity relationship, Leeds was lucky enough to welcome them for the second tim in two years!
Patients, families and staff were able to visit the car outside the hospital, chat to driver Jak Crawford and take part in a racing suit design competition with a money-can’t-buy experience prize!
The team brought some fabulous gifts for patients and Jak even visited the Children’s Assessment and Treatment (CAT) Unit to chat to patients and meet some of our amazing team.

Kayleigh visited wither her son James who is has been an inpatient for several months. Kayleigh said:
‘Things like this just make hospital so much nicer… It does take away from being in hospital. Something that’s often forgotten is that there is often the whole family here too so the children get wonderful magic memories but parents, grandparents, people who are maybe having the worst time of their life, all of a sudden have something that they can put in the family chat that’s uplifting and positive… it’s just incredible’

Huge thanks to Leeds Hospitals Charity and Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ team for organising this amazing visit.
