On Saturday 1 July the Trust’s Clarendon Nursery celebrated their 45th anniversary.
Staff offered their time to set up the nursery with exciting activities, a celebration cake and refreshments. Parents, staff and children past and present were all invited.
The nursery is next to the Leeds General Infirmary, opposite the Clarendon wing and provides high quality care for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. Over the past 45 years, they have cared for the children of both staff and the local community.
Lisa Wightman, Nursery Manager said, “It was really lovely to see everyone, although it did make some staff feel very old, especially seeing some of the children who are now teenagers, with Sam, the oldest at 19”.
They also welcomed former Nursery Managers Irene Spears, Julie Kemp and Julie Adamson, and Carol Longbottom, a previous Operational Manager.
Thank you to everyone who made the day very special.
