How long have you been a nurse?
I have been a nurse for four and half years and joined the Trust two years ago.
What attracted you to become a nurse?
I watched a lot of Call the Midwife and 24 Hours in A&E — and thought, I want to do that!
What do you love most about your job?
My colleagues and all the wonderful and unique people you meet every day. There’s never a dull moment and always interesting conversations and life stories.
If people are considering a career in nursing, what advice would you give them?
You’re there to help make someone’s worst day a little bit better — you won’t always be able to fix everything. And… always bring a big juicy packed lunch, so you’ve got something to look forward to.
